I bought this to protect my thumbstick from getting ruined by the oils from my hand. So far I really like it :3
Application was tricky at first because it kept falling off. But if you follow the video guide in Discord, you will be fine. Once it is on, there is a little lip on the inside of the circlepad to secure it in place.
When closing the 3DS, the gap is slightly raised by a few milimeters and the 3DS doesn't close completely flush anymore, so just be a little gentle when handling <3
